Juan Sebastian holds a degree in Business Administration from Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, and a Master’s in International Marketing Management from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid, Spain. Additionally, he has obtained diplomas in the fields of money laundering and terrorist financing, as well as in projects and database management (SQL, Power BI).

His professional journey commenced in 2013 at a multinational insurance company specializing in life and health products. Since then, he has been actively engaged in the financial sector, specifically in areas related to risk and compliance, with a focus on the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing (AML/FT). For approximately 7 years, he has amassed considerable expertise in this domain.

In 2024, Juan Sebastian joined OlarteMoure as an associate in the Compliance department. In this role, he is responsible for providing support in projects related to compliance and risk management implementation.
