United States: MIT professors sue Ford Motor Company over engine features in F-150 engines

On January 30, 2019, three Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Professors filed a patent infringement lawsuit against the Ford Motor Co., regarding the newest fuel efficient engines contained in their F-150 trucks. The Professors argue that their patented dual port-and direct-injection technology where added to the new Ford EcoBoost engines without their permission.
