FONTAGRO, a consortium comprising 15 Latin American nations, is calling for Science, Technology, and Innovation projects to promote sustainable agriculture and food security in the region in the face of climate change. The initiative aims to fund up to four proposals with a maximum of $200,000 each for a period of 36 months, with a total of $800,000 available.

Participants can submit their research projects by filling out an electronic form available on FONTAGRO’s website until April 3, 2023, 3:00 PM (US Eastern time). The funding will be allocated to the most innovative and impactful projects, which will help address the challenges faced by agriculture and food security in Latin America and the Caribbean.

FONTAGRO’s commitment to promoting research and innovation in the region is critical in the face of increasing challenges posed by climate change. This call for proposals represents a significant opportunity for scientists, researchers, and organizations working in the field to advance sustainable practices and secure food security for the region’s population.
