Recently, the Current State of the Colombian Financial System Report, up to September 2023, was published, presenting the results obtained by entities in the financial sector.
Within this report, the remarkable contribution of Specialized Companies in Deposits and Electronic Payments (SEDPE) stands out notably, with assets reaching an impressive COP $358.8 million, demonstrating a significant annual real growth of 15.5%.
In contrast to this achievement, these same entities reported negative results in their profits, recording a balance of COP -$14.8 million.
Despite this last indicator, SEDPE’s influence in the Colombian Financial System continues to solidify as an increasingly relevant component, highlighting its crucial role in the transformation and evolution of the country’s financial landscape.
