The Brussels Commercial Court has decided that UberX is not a taxi service, thereby abiding by Brussels’ legal framework. The decision was taken in the framework of a legal action lodged by several taxi service professional associations and businesses.
According to the Court, UberX does not employ any drivers and does not provide any transport service, so they can continue operating in Brussels.
