Lorena Elejalde has worked as a translator, proofreader and academic advisor for more than 20 years with public and private companies, higher education institutions, non-profit organizations, government entities and university students in Medellín, Barranquilla and Bogotá. For the last 10 years, they have specialized in the legal area, particularly in intellectual property matters. Additionally, they have experience in team leadership and management of large projects.

Currently, Lorena is a Senior Project Manager at OlarteMoure & Asociados’ Language Center. Here, in addition to coordinating and supervising the operation of the in-house team and external suppliers to provide translation, proofreading, localization and interpretation services to the different areas of the firm and to other clients, they perform strategic tasks such as incorporating various technological tools, building the quality assurance system, and implementing protocols and processes.
