Tomás is a lawyer and political scientist with a minor in History from Universidad de los Andes (Bogotá, Colombia). Throughout his undergraduate studies in Law, where he graduated with ‘cum laude honors’ and was awarded a distinction for his meritorious thesis, he worked as a teaching assistant in Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Criminology Department. Additionally, he earned a diploma in Compliance from the Pontifical Xaverian University (Bogotá, Colombia) in the year 2022.

Tomás started his work experience in a Colombian NGO developing human rights advocacy and public interest litigation processes. Afterwards, he assisted Ms. Gloria Stella Ortiz Delgado in the research and identification of legal risks for public entities and private companies in constitutional law, private international law, and arbitration matters. Furthermore, Tomás also collaborated with a local firm specialized in public law and business law litigation for companies and trade associations of diverse industries.
