Luis Fernando is a mechanical engineer from the Fundación Universidad del Norte and holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the same university. He currently works as an Associate in the Innovation, Protection and Transfer area at OlarteMoure & Asociados.

Luis Fernando’s previous experience includes work as a researcher and teacher in the areas of thermofluid process modelling, data analysis and instrumentation and control. For seven years he worked as a technology transfer analyst for the current Vice-Rectory of research, creation and innovation of the Universidad del Norte, managing the portfolio of technologies and developments of the same university. In addition to his research and teaching experience, Luis has expertise in computational fluid modelling, control loop design, process modelling, design of experiments and data analysis.
