On 26 January 2018 –and in accordance with Resolution 210/2018-, the Brazilian Patent Office (INPI in Portuguese) decided to extend the period of the Patent Prosecution Highway (PPH INPI-USPTO) signed with the USA on 21 December 2015.
The PPH will be in force until 10 May 2018, and its limited to patent applications related to oil and gas sector.
