Santiago holds a Law degree from Universidad Del Rosario, a specialization in Administrative Law from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, and an LL.M, in Industrial Property, Intellectual Property, and New Technologies from Universidad Autónoma in Madrid. During his studies at Universidad Del Rosario, he was a member of the research incubator on Civil Law being an active participant in academic and investigation activities regarding the application in Colombia of the Consumer Statute.

Santiago worked as a Junior Lawyer in the Law firm Camilo Gómez – Derecho de Mercados and as an associated Lawyer in Pinzón Pinzón & Asociados Abogados offering legal advice on Intellectual Property Infringement, Unfair Competition, Consumer Law, and Privacy. Since April of 2019, he works with OlarteMoure`s team as Associated for the Litigation area and by May of 2020, he was appointed as Practice Chair – Antitrust, Unfair Competition & Consumer Law.
