Juan Carlos Campos is a Telecommunications Engineer, graduated from the Don Bosco University of El Salvador (2010) and later, he obtained a Master’s Degree in Project Management at the Catholic University of San Antonio in Murcia, Spain (2021).

His experience in the telecommunications sector includes more than 12 years in the areas of Radio Frequency and Cellular Network Optimisation. Previously, he worked in Claro El Salvador, where he held the position of Mobile Network Engineer and acquired solid knowledge and experience in coverage improvement, quality, planning, sizing and deployment of 2G, 3G and 4G networks, as well as in the monitoring and improvement of quality of service indicators. He led and coordinated work teams, and participated in the elaboration and implementation of frequency plans, drive tests, indoor tests, post-processing, physical and logical parameterisation of cells and cellular base stations.

Since April 2020 he is part of the OlarteMoure & Asociados team, where he works as a Technical Associate in the Patent Area. His professional practice in intellectual property focuses mainly on drafting and prosecution of patents for new technologies related to the field of telecommunications, electronics and other branches of engineering. He has experience in prosecution and litigation campaigns of Standard Essential Patents (SEP) especially for 4G and 5G standards.
