Guillermo received his BSc. In System Engineering with emphasis in Operations Research from Universidad Distrital (Bogotá, Colombia) in 1996. His student practice was developed in a multinational oil company in Caño Limón (Arauca, Colombia) where he developed and implemented a clinic diagnosis assistant  software in graphic environment. During his studies, Guillermo was computer’s room monitor and assistant of Geographical Information Systems cathedra.

His professional practice started as an independent contractor of software solutions for private sector. In 2001, he started to work with General Motors in its automotive assembly plant in Bogotá, Colombia. In this company, Guillermo was part of the implementation team of GM’s Global Manufacturing System, implemented CNC (Computer Numeric Control) technologies applied to measurements machines, was ‘Built–In Quality’ expert and worked as a Quality Assurance Engineer coordinating problem solutions for several vehicles platforms.

Guillermo joined OlarteMoure in 2014 as a Technical Associate of Innovation, Protection & Transfer area.
