On 9 February 2018, the Brazilian Government published a decree regulating science, technology and innovation legal framework.  The new regulation will make possible the research and innovation debureaucratization; and also the creation of new mechanisms to integrate scientific, technological and business institutions.

Accountability of the instruments that support research activities will be facilitated, which will allow to promotion agencies the transfer of resources for innovative solutions development.
