By means of a press release dated 26 February 2019, the National Authority for Regulatory Affairs in Colombia (INVIMA) reported the confiscation of more than 12 thousand units of counterfeit products to be marketed in Barranquilla, Colombia.
The seizure actions in a joint effort with the National Tax and Customs Authority (DIAN), took place in several retail stores located at a Barranquilla shopping mall. With these actions, the national authorities avoided sanitary jeopardies linked to the distribution of counterfeit cosmetic products.
