Amazon Web Services (AWS) announced it will develop an application to improve citizen security in Medellin in partnership with a Colombian urban security company. The application will be created in the search of justice for Medellín and any other city in the country where the application could be implemented in the future by collectively involving citizens in security issues.

This announcement was made during the first ‘public sector summit’ of Amazon Web Services where it was also announced that they will further strengthen their agreement with the Colombian National Learning Service (Sena) by training more than 2,000 students in ‘Cloud Computing and Information Technology’ studies, as a contribution to the digital transformation of the country.
