The Inter-American Association of Industrial Property (ASIPI) held its XX Congress in Rio de Janeiro on 25-28 November 2018, in which the new Executive Committee was elected, which will lead the Association until the end of 2021. María del Pilar Troncoso is no longer president of the Executive Committee of ASIPI, welcoming Elisabeth Siemsen as the new president of the association’s Executive Committee (2018-2021). Likewise, Juan E. Vanrell who was part of the team for 15 years, ends his outgoing president term (2015-2018), becoming part of the Committee of former presidents.
