We are honored to announce that we are being shortlisted at the Chambers Diversity & Inclusion Awards: Latin America 2019 in the category Outstanding Firm for Furthering Diversity and Inclusion.
Since 2014 these awards have celebrated law firms and in-house legal teams that have made an effort in advancing diversity, inclusion, pro bono and sustainability in the practice of law all across Latin America. These awards are also given to the individuals at these offices that have played an important role in advancing these programs, particularly in the areas of pro bono, corporate social responsibility, and inclusion. The winners are chosen by Chambers D&I through a complex process that includes interviews with employees, the firm’s diversity data, and client references, among others, to truly judge how the topics of diversity and inclusion are approached at these companies.
What Chambers Diversity & Inclusion looks to promote with these awards is the advancement of diversity and inclusion in the legal world. They understand that there is a need to change within this profession, to make it more diverse and inclusive to all. In a world that is constantly and rapidly evolving, these topics are each time more important for potential clients, therefore law firms who demonstrate that they are furthering these inclusive practices may have an advantage in this competitive market.
The winners of these awards will be announced on December 5th, 2019, at an awards ceremony that will be held at the Sheraton Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina, at 7:00 p.m.
We couldn’t be prouder of our Diversity and Inclusion Committee. They have done a great job on our law firm, working on truly making diversity and inclusion a central part of the daily tasks performed at Olarte Moure.
