Catalina received her J.D. degree with emphasis in Commercial Law from Universidad Del Rosario; Bogotá, Colombia (march 2013). She also holds a minor degree on International Business Law from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana; Bogotá, Colombia. (july 2013). Catalina is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Commercial Law at the same University.
Her professional career began as a Law Clerk at Gómez Pinzón Zuleta Abogados where she was part of the Probono and Corporate Teams. She has also worked as junior associate for local firms on practices related to national and international mergers, incorporation of companies, voluntary liquidations, due diligences, and in the day to day advice for local companies on finance and corporate matters.
Catalina was chosen as a Law Clerk by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to meet in the second half on 2012 her degree requirements at the Colombian Foreign Affairs Office in Washington D.C. United States. (July to January of 2013).
At OlarteMoure Catalina is a member of the Litigation Team, where she focuses her practice creating strategies associated to the defense and protection of Intellectual Property rights, specifically in industrial property prosecution, appeals, infringement actions, annulment actions (among others) on behalf national and foreign companies.
